That’s the news..and I’m outta here
After a bunch of thought, I think I’m going to shut my blog down. I don’t like the attention that it gets and sometimes I think it is taking focus off of the music I make. One of the hardest things for me to hear is that people have liked the band but my attitude turns them away. I can’t lose sight of why i got into all this in the first place. I know it probably has seemed like a great way to get attention but I don’t see it that way. It’s a distraction. I’ve never been into the famous side of being in a band and as hard as it is to believe, I actually don’t like attention. I’m going back into my cave to make the best record of my life and you’ll hear from me when it’s done.
gah, anthony, I doubt you’ll ever read this but your blog is one of my favorite things about tumblr. I don’t know you personally but it was nice to see someone “in the scene” who was willing to say shit he felt without worrying about pissing off a few people. Usually when bands say stuff it comes out as so fucking cliche (do we really need to know what every band ever thinks about brokencyde? we get it.)
but i understand if you feel like it would be best for the band if you stopped blogging. good luck and i’m looking forward to hearing your new record.
